• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Here's my choices for the best bourbons, served over ice cubes only. A close look will tell you that I am a serious fan of "wheated" bourbons! Anyone have one to add to the list?

Impressive, especially the Makers Mark, I'll be over next week to try them all

My favorite is the very mellow WL Weller, but the rare one is the George T Stagg on the left that is only available once a year and costs over $80 a bottle, it is uncut, unfiltered and 142 proof ! :ohyea:

I like regular Makers Mark, the Jim Beam Black is pretty good too. Tried Devils Cut and found it to be a little on the "develish side". Good ol Jack Daniels isn't bad either.

I rarely find a premium whiskey that I don't like on the rocks.

You gotta feel sorry for people that don't drink,
When they wake up in the morning that's as good as they're going to feel all day. ;)

Can I ask why it only can be a evening recreation ??? I'm more of a 9am kind of guy. :yikes::yikes:

You mean Im not supposed to take my morning meds with shots?

*turns on his MP3 player to listen to LMFAO's "shots" song*

Sipping Whiskey

Add Knob Creek and Woodford Reserve to the favorites list...

If you want to go the scotch route, I strongly suggest saving your pennies from forgone Spyder mods and splurging for a bottle of Johnnie Walker Blue. That stuff is magical.

Crown Royal Black

I would have to add Crown Royal Black to that amazing group.

One addition item would be Bourbon Cream :yes:created by Buffalo Trace Distrillery. It's just like an Irish Cream but made with Bourbon.

Or Captain Morgan on top of Captain Crunch!

If i had captain and captain id:barf:...I do like spiced rum tho..

I got Verrrryyy ill one eve over to a friends many many yrs ago. That was my one and only time drinking JD. Just the smell of wiskey brings up not so fond memories..the few I remember anyway. one Very bad moment included Special K and a screen door. It wasnt pretty....
