• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Evap canister

I want to relocate my evap canister. Does anyone have any picyures of where to put it. My stock airbox has been replaced with JT's air intake so lots of room up there now. Just like to know the best location to put it.

I'd try and mount it as high as possible...
Put a good loop of vent hose well-above the highest point on the fuel tank. That might help to keep any fuel from getting sloshed down into the canister.

I moved mine on a '13 ST to where the factory put them in '14. I posted pics a few months back.

The bracket I made to hold the canister.

Not sure of the location from this pic. I did look up your other posts on this and it sounds like the relocation did not help very much. I think I will just remove it all together.

To what purpose are you doing this .............I solved the " GAS INTO THE CAN PROBLEM " with a simple loop in the hose from the gas tank to the evac can.........Never got a single drop of gas in the can....and never had any smells either ...............took all of 10 minutes ......Mike

This morning I decided to do a complete canister delete. $11.00 in parts and about a half hour. I decided to route my vent line up as high as possible. In the first pic the line that came off the canister I routed up under the tupperware. My vent line is now about 8 inches higher than the top of the gas tank. I then added a cheap fuel filter and put an additional 3-1/2 feet of fuel line and routed it front and down next to the antifreeze overflow.

The best place is the trash can, IMHO.
