• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Escape XL Diamond Aluminum Trailer for 2011 RT

I have this trailer and have towed it with my 2010 RT for about 5000 miles. I am using the BRP hitch and module. The trailer tows great under all conditions and the only complaint I have is that the tires are worn very badly after 5000 miles. I'm not sure if its just the tires they are using are what. I will be changing them after SpyderFest with a differant brand hopefully this will solve the problem. It's not just my trailer with this problem, I have spoke with several owners of this same trailer that have had the same problem. With this said I have no problem recommending this trailer.
 
BRP has a lot of diff hookups just make sure u get the right 1 for ur bike. i just got a trailer like u r wanting i pulled it about 600 miles home an had to keep looking to make sure it was there it pulled great! an we had some winds 35-40 mph . there r adapters that can b used for the right hookup to the trailer. 2013-01-28_12.56.09.jpg

Tire wear on a trailer is normally a result of misalignment. This can be difficult to remedy as it is often a result of improper fabrication/setup and tongue misalignment or improper axle/torsion suspension mounting.

These trailers come apart. In putting it together, make sure you align and square up the frame on the axles. Have someone follow you and make sure it tracking straight. On mine, you could see it tracking a little off even though it felt fine on the spyder.

Do you already have the hitch and harness? I have this trailer and pulled it with my GS. I am now going to pull it with my RT. I just bought one of these from the same place, it seems to be a decent trailer for the price with plenty of room, i changed out the bolts on the covered cooler because the ones that it came with do not appear strong enough, i also had to replace the weather strip because of constant rattle, both of these items cost less than 10.00 but improved the quality of the trailer.

I use one of these with my 2011 SM 5 RT. I have the standard BRP hitch and trailer module and then I got the pole harness (710002442) and cut off the end and installed a flat four pin plug. When I cut the end off I also set the length so that I didn't have too much excess wire. In addition to the two clips on the hitch I put a couple of bungee cords to keep it nice and tight.

Trailer pulls like a dream – I have about 2000 miles on it and as of yet have not noticed tire wear. I was very careful during assembly to square up the wheels so hopefully that makes a difference. I have pulled in heavy winds and it is been rained on with no leaks. I got mine from a place in North Carolina for $1395 and I am quite happy with it.

One great feature of the 622 seems to be it's ability to soak up the bumps...

It is a 1.75 gal can on a deluxe mount about 110.00 total

Well worth it, be sure when you mount it to use a metal plate on the inside for stability, i used a metal plate that fit over a four gang electric box

:agree: I used to carry the larger version on the front rack of my Grizzly. A great way to carry spare "dino-squeezins' " :thumbup:
