• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Erags was on a mission yesterday...

Erags was on a mission yesterday...a Patriot Guard mission to welcome home a wounded soldier, that is. There were over 50 bikes to escort Daniel home, including one other :spyder2:. It was our first :spyder2: ride since Ed's surgery. It sure felt great to have the wind blowing on us!:yes: We are headed towards Houston (MD Anderson Cancer Center) today, planning to stay overnight in Lafayette to visit friends (and eat some good ole Cajun food). We're stopping along the way at The Shed in Ocean Springs for some good Southern BBQ:bbq:. (Now that he's feeling better, everything revolves around food)! Hopefully we will find out what course of action is recommended for his lymphoma on Monday.:pray::pray:

;)
Here's hoping for cool breezes and good news. Heard anything from VA yet?
I imagine their "Fast Track" isn't too fast, with the number of veterans with health issues. We haven't heard anything yet, but I wasn't really expecting to.

Well, personally, I hope they take care of you like they should.

Professionally, I'm interested, because my job here at Fort Leavenworth is to brief those who are separating, on benefits and programs, and I like to know how things are working so I can tell them. I also take claims for three of our predischarge programs. I want them to do right by you and everybody else.

Prayers fom the far north

Thinking about you guys and praying for Ed (actually for you both) as we ride to the north.

Well that's the right attitude when you are dealing with the VA because if your not an OEF/OIF vet there is not much existence of a "fast track"; Work there and deal with it on a daily basis. Hope MD Anderson can get you treated and on the road to recovery. Glad your feeling well enough to get in the wind again. Will keep you in my good thoughts and wishing you well.

We've been thinking about you guys as we swelter in the hot, humid South, Dick. Hope you are having a fabulous time...we've been following your posts...Spyder-riding-by-proxy, I guess. Thanks again for the wonderful Cheyenne hospitality.
