• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Erags and DocRags are finally home...

There are times when I wish I was not educated and I was not a biologist that understands these things. I'm sure you feeel a bit that way about being a doctor right now. Sometimes ignorance is truly bliss. Things are sounding optimistic, though, so there is good reason so far to look toward the best outcome. I'm going to turn off the biologist part of my brain for the night, and just pray for a quick and successful outcome. Thanks for the details. They may be painful to hear, but they make for a better understanding. We love you guys! You know we are pulling for Ed, and for some peace of mind for you.

The doctors are all leaning towards a lymphoma being the source of the problem...still waiting for a few tests to be finished in Cheyenne, with results expected tomorrow. We're settled into the local hospital, waiting for the surgeon and oncologist to come by. Don't know if it will be tomorrow or today. :dontknow: If the surgeon can go in laparascopically that would make recovery that much easier (so we can get back to riding that much quicker
)...we are keeping our fingers crossed...and praying. I'm still having trouble getting my brain around "lymphoma" without the hospice part of my brain engaging. Good news for the day: his blood counts are stable so no blood needed yet.

Prayers are with you from the other side of Florida, also I had thyroid lymphoma about 10 years ago and with a good doctor and a lot of prayers from a lot of people(in and out of my church) i am doing great. Keep having a good attitude helps a lot too, which it looks like you do. When all this is over we'll have to meet up somewhere and celebrate!

Happy to hear you are home safe. Will keep you both on the prayer list. By the way, we've been to Milton, had some friends that lived there.

Well, he's got cancer and it's in his colon, but it's not colon cancer...Definitely a lymphoma...one of the "better" ones, whatever the hell THAT means. Oops...guess I should have said :cus: ! Bone marrow study and stress test for surgical clearance tomorrow...oh, boy!...then Laparoscopic surgery on Monday. Should be home by next Friday, Good Lord willing. He was allowed to eat a regular diet today...but didn't get up till floor till too late for anything but dinner so he was NOT a happy camper when I left. Of course, I didn't fare much better, so I was not too sympathetic to his plight...I figure he's got more to spare than me, so...:roflblack: Sorry, Erags...this was NOT the way I meant for you to lose weight. Thanks, again, to all of you for your love and support. We couldn't make it without you.

Docrags showed my wife and I her scrapbook with all of their travels...I think they are gonna need a bigger scrapbook to put this trip in!!...Only good thoughts for you and your husband,Doc!!!!!!...

Geri and I have been out of touch (no internet) for almost a week. Just got caught up and want to let you know that both of you will be in our thoughts and prayers. Best wishes for a speedy recovery!

Thanks, Dan and Geri. Hopefully the laparoscopic approach will get us back on the Spyder quickly. Erags is already going into :spyder2: withdrawal!

The thing that's making this scrapbook a bit hard is all the math:hun:...we've got to add the miles we actually rode the :spyder2: plus the miles we rode in the RV plus the miles we drove Ed's dad's car (2 passengers + 1 driver can't ride the :spyder2:) plus the miles we rode in the deputy sheriff's car (long story, refer to earlier post...luckily, no handcuffs involved) plus the miles we drove the rental car around the Albuquerque area plus the miles we drove Dlennox's loaner car...whew, I think that's all! I could get double miles for the miles I sat on the :spyder2: pretending I was riding the :spyder2: while it was tied down in the RV's garage and Erags was driving the RV, but I won't. The book is almost finished, except for the mileage calculation. When I look over the part about riding the :spyder2: while it was tied down in the RV, I realize I am in :spyder2: withdrawal. :yikes: Oh, no!
