• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

ER Visit Last Night

Glad to hear that you are ok, and you did get hurt real bad. I would say" like everyone else has said on this post, trailer or have your spyder towed to a dealership to have the spyder checked. Also lets us know , what you find out.

Glad to hear that you are okay and not too seriously injured. I would take the bike back to the dealer and have them look at it.

Glad your OK!!!

My guess is too much Toe in Or Toe Out! Or a Lose Ball Joint. Do what every one else said Have it trailerd to a good dealer. then find the nearest Laser aligner!

Up date to my ER Visit

I would like to thank everyone for their encouraging words. I am just handing out at home taking it easy. My spyder is a 2013 ST LTD. I purchased it used from Rabtech in AL. It was laser aligned by Rabtech. I am going to the owner's event in Durango and I will get it checked out. I will keep everyone in the loop about my steering issue. Thanks again.

Hi, and glad your going to be ok. I would seriously consider getting your bike checked and test rode, before you go on any trips with it. The things you describe are not normal, or at least, I have never experienced in 3 years... be safe!!

IN THE DITCH

...Or, if all your experience from Motorcycles is from the two wheel variety........and you were driving the Spyder the same way......that could be why you ended up in the ditch..............Old learned habits die hard, and you may have re-verted to instinct and well.......But I'm very, very glad to hear you are OK.........Mike

I am glad the injuries were not serious but scary to say the least.

I am not trying be glib here when I ask this but; How much riding expereince do you have on any type of Motorcycle?

:agree: While we don't have much of an idea about your level of experience; could this have been the culprit? :dontknow:
