Engine vibration at 6000 rpm

Howdy y'all !

Well I got the tensioner and installed it this morning, and was looking forward to a nice smooth ride without the vibration. Well right from the start, the vibration was there just like it was before.

This week I have been driving it to work, so I was able to put on a few more miles, and like every day, that vib was there.

Now I got another issue, engine light at 6000 rpm for a short time. Why can the dumb display tell me more then just "CHECK ENGINE" ? Not sure if it is related to the vibration or what at this point. Heading back to the shop for them to read the codes.

Some much for a nice Memorial weekend on the bike.

Well, no longer my problem, traded the bike in due to too much unanswered engine vibration. Even after installing the tensioner, it did not make any difference for my bike. The dealership test drove my bike again, some one who had not driven it before, and they came to the agreement that there is an unanswered reason for the vibration. I test drove the 2013 model and I couldn't duplicate the engine vibration on that bike. So, traded in for the 2013. Get it next week.

After coming back home on the bike, I was really glad that I am getting out from my 2011 RT. The vibs coming home was not a normal issue in my option.

I am sure the dealership is happy, the sold another RT, and they should see less of me waiting at the shop.
