• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Engine/Transmission Sound

Questions

I have a 2011 RT-S with almost 8000 miles on it. After riding it the other day from work to home (about 35 miles), I pulled into my driveway to slow down and go around my wife's car. When I did so and started to apply throttle, I heard a grinding or meshing of gear sound from the engine and/or the transmission. I stopped, placed on the brake and turned off the Spyder. After supper, I went out, started up the Spyder and went into reverse to reposition the bike. When I then placed it in first, I heard the same grinding/meshing of gears sound.

Anyone have any ideas of what it may be? At present, I will have to get a trailer and bring it to my dealer to ensure I am not going to cause any further damage.
