Engine mucks up the radio

The FM radio on my '13 RT suffers from some sort of interference when the engine is running. A station will come in with a lot of background noise and a not so strong signal, and when I turn off the engine using the kill switch, the reception clears up instantly.

I've seen some comments about plug wires and other electrical interferences. Is this my problem? What do I need to do to get rid of the interference and have good clean reception?

i would check bad ground on radio RT i believe it's next to rigth rear speaker
