Brian and I went up to Nord Ride (our dealer) to check on the progress of our spyders. Some of the necessary parts needed have arrived and they are actively working on my spyder. In the process of getting into the "guts" and the underbelly of my spyder, Roger, the service manager took some photos to send to BRP. He is just checking on the wear of some of the parts to determine if any replacement should be done or not. Brian would know more about this than I. I really didn't understand anything that was being said. I did take some photos of the spyder guts all laid out that I will share.
The encouraging news as far as I am concerned is this: I asked if any of the issues had anything to do with me riding year round in all weather conditions. We salt our roads here in Michigan and I know how damaging that can be. I was assured that anything they are looking at has nothing to do with weather or salt and I can continue to ride as I would like, once I get my spyder back.
I will try to keep you all updated on the progress. Sorry I don't have more technical information for all you gear heads.
