• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Elka Shocks

Sorry I don't think so. The angle of the shocks is different on the 2014 and I believe it is longer.

I was told by Len at Pitbull the answer is NO

I asked Len at Pitbull Powersports in Springfield Mo, if my Elkas on my 2012 would switch over to a 2014 and the answer was "NO"! That they are too short!

I had the same question before I ordered my 2014 RT-S. The 2014 Elka's are an inch longer. I sold the 2011 Elka's and bought the 2014's. Len from Pitbull (site sponsor) has a Spyderfest special going on now on Elka's.

The shocks on the 2013-14 are approximately 1 inch longer than 2010-12, therefore they are not interchangeable.

There wll be some great deals going on at Spyderfest if you plan to attend, but if you are unable to, you can contact Len at Pitbull and he can certainly get you taken care of.

Regards,

John@Elka
