• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

After 80,000 miles (see http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9158&highlight=elka ) I send the shocks to Impact Solutions in Parkersburg, WV for full servicing: rebuild, oil change, refurbishing and tuning/revalving. Fast (2 days) turn-around, call conforming the package arrived and send, call from the mechanic in reference of tuning...in other words impressive service! Results: my Elka's are like brand new!

I gotta hand it to you, Doc, you are always coming up with the good solutions! Way to go, man! Enjoy your "new" Elka's.

Jay and Jeff with Impact Solutions are also the guys who represent Elka at all the professional Cross Country ATV races in the US as well. They are fantastic to work, very knowledgeable, and are very well respected at the race track with the Pro ATV riders.

Doc, just wondering what type of Elka shock you purchased? Did you go with the 1 Ways in the front and 3 way in the rear? I am about to make the jump to the Elka's.

This is what I order:
Can-Am Spyder, RS SM5, 174pnds, aggressive street rider.
Front shocks are single rate spring set-up with remote reservoir, high / low speed compression with rebound. Rear shock is a remote reservoir dual rate spring set-up with hydraulic high / low speed compression and rebound adjustments.
