• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Just noted from reading the specs that the front shock travel on the RT and the F3T is the same. Was wondering if I could swap my Elkas off of my 2014 RT over to a 2016 F3T ? Havent bought the F3T yet but considering it. Love the way it handles. Thanks for any input, Dale

I had Elkas on my '14 RT Limited. I called Elka and asked them if they would fit on the F3 Limited I was going to buy. Bottom line: No, it's a completely different shock.

Does the F3T have the same shocks(SACH) as the Limited? If so, they are a great shock when dialed in. Mine were a PITA as the dealer had to remove the shocks to free up the adjusters. They did not want to take a hammer and chisel to them. But they got them freed up and adjusted. Made a big difference before and after. Tom :spyder:

The F3 and F3-S have Fox adjustable shocks on the front and a fixed Sachs shock on the rear.
The F3-T and F3-L have Sachs adjustable shocks on the front and a Sachs shock with adjustable air bladder in the rear.

Sachs front shocks

What is involved in adjusting the Sachs front shocks? (i.e. in the manual it said to have a dealer adjust it). Is it something that the owner can do?

I don't know that I would like to have MY dealer do it, Reiss. I asked them to set it up for a 300lb rider when I picked it up, and the rear psi was set to zero.....they obviously hadn't even looked at the rear, let alone the front.
