• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I put a BajaRon anti-sway bar on my 2011 RS-S SE5 and a set of used RT front shocks for less than $300.00USD. Now it handles great on the tight twisting and narrow mountain roads, without fear of flipping it. That's IMHO.

Agree. We played around with a lot of different suspension component combinations and in the end the 11'-12' RT shocks with the bajaron bar was the best handling combination.
Fantastic and very predictable handling.

After riding the twisties, with the wife on the back, we were constantly lifting one the wheels. I went straight to the Elkas and the Ron bar. After hearing the reports on the RT take off shocks, I wish I would have tried that, prior to getting the Elkas, and saving a little money in the process.
I do not get much body roll with this set up and it corners on rails. I have not heard enough on the shock relocators to give them a try.

Here's what I did..!!

RS sm5..added the BajaRon Sway bar..big improvement..then the Pittbull shock relocators..even better and when I can I will go to the RT shocks. But at this point two up and it handles great....you can find many a farkle for that empty suitcase...:roflblack::roflblack:

IMHO Stay where you are. On the RS we look at it as "pick 2". The ronbar, relocators, AND stiffer shocks actually gave to much response and made it to "twitchy". One of my good friends is running stiffer shocks, and relocators with a stock bar and it handles well.

gnz2250- your good with the Elkas. They are fantastic shocks that do a great job. They are actually far superior shocks to the RT and FOX . Just pricey and bang for buck lose out vs. the RT shocks or Fox, but the only downside is a bit lighter wallet.....

A Spyder only go around a corner so fast. Years & years & years ago when I went to racing school the instructor said "You can't teach a car to handle better, but the car can teach driver how to drive it faster". That is what they call seat time, so the more you ride it the faster you can go. With the mods. you see above is a great starting point and the VSS will still work and help you save yourself if you push it to hard. That's IMHO.
