Elka adjustment tool?

Anyone have a photo of what these look like. Been so long since I messed with them, I can't seem to find my adjustment tool...don't remember what the heck it looks like. Assuming I did have one when I got my first set of Elka's on my GS.

My new set that I had put on when I bought the Spyder at Cowtown didn't come with the adjustment tool. :-(.

Its about 5 inches and L shaped like an allen wrench. Just use a tool the same size as the adjustment opening and a extension for a little leverage?:dontknow: In fact a similar size allen wrench would be just as good as the original tool!

May want to silicone spray the threads a little before you try to twist the nut. fwiw

And most important don't forget to loosen the bolt on the collar, if not you will bend your adjustment tool.

I'll jack it up and back them off after I locate where I left the darn thing.

Spray a little lube on the threads, aluminum to aluminum threads gall up easy.

It's probably in your BRP tool pouch; It didn't take up much space, and fit in mine without a problem! :thumbup:

I also misplaced mine and couldn't even remember what it looked like, I carefully used the factory BRP tool with a little tape for protection.
