• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Eliot Motors No Dead---Yet.

Interesting..!!

but not surprising..they did refer to it as a car later an autocycle and in the second article one of the points was that it was not a car. My question is: if they don't have the final working engine how can they advertise it will get 80 mpg..:dontknow: seems they are a long way off getting anything this up and running much less maintaining their claims..

Elio may be going under???? Wha-a-a-a-a-a-t??????? :yikes:

Who knew? :dontknow:

Thank you so much for finding and posting the current information.

The brand is like a cat with all the lives it has shown. I am seriously thinking, how many more delays can there be. Will 2016 now be the "put up or shut up" year?

You have to give the man credit. He has collected a lot of money from prospective customers and IMO "sucker" funders. All that has come out of this so far are some t-shirts.

The latest debacle was the "engine start up" which was supposed to take place today. It was interesting to see all the "we told you it was for real posts" a month or so ago when the article was posted about the engine.

I am still recommending, hold on to your deposit money and wait for the "real" production to happen. If you can't afford to lose your deposit, don't make one.
