• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Not pretty

I'm no art critic but that is the ugulyist vehical that has been marketed to the general public in many, many years.

There was a test drive clip on Yahoo the other day. 20 minutes worth, and being driven in downtown New York City.

Of course, I cannot find the link now.

The testers were from a motorcycle magazine. They apologized for the terrible performance of the Elio at least four times. "It's a prototype and is not properly set up."

Noisy, no windows installed, the transmission was "wonky," and the gauges were non-functional. At the end, the left front fender came loose and the vehicle stopped in the middle of the driving lane with the wheel on top of the fender--Oooooops!

I thought to myself, what a POS. With about a year to get the vehicle in full production and get the "bugs" worked out--I am sure glad I don't have any pre-ordered or any money down. On a scale of 1 to 10--I would give it a 1 for starters.

Time will tell--:bbq::bbq::bbq:

There are a few on here that have their deposits down. :thumbup:

Oh, my. Hope I didn't offend!!!! :shocked:

The guy I know has been talking about this thing for 3 years. He's had money down since the beginning. If I asked him today, he would say this is the greatest thing since sliced bread. I don't know.

I wouldn't put money down on something until the bugs got worked out either. That's why I waited a few years to get my Spyder!! I'll let other folks be the guinea pigs.... ;)
