• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Electronic transmission

On an F3 with the more relaxed 'nanny' - sure can!!:yes::yes:

The nanny still won't let you get too much out of control, but in a straight line it's pretty easy to light up the rear tire; & with practice & a judicious throttle hand matching the (limited) amount of steering input, you can even drift it a little!! :ohyea::yes::ohyea::2thumbs:

Not that I'd ever encourage anyone to behave badly on their Spyder of course - and I'd always recommend using someone else's F3 to practice on, or at least a cheapie tire that someone else will pay to replace!! ;)

DAMN RIGHT YOU CAN

. ...Well at least I can :roflblack:....anyone here who was at last years Spyderfest DRAG races can attest to that...In fact I couldn't get it to HOOK it up.....and I was trying :banghead::banghead::banghead:..............Mike

I can smoke the tire on my RS, no problem. I just let off the brake and go full throttle and the back tire spins with the Spyder hardly moving. My wife's 2014 RT Limited won't.

Sorry... I forgot about "growing up" being an optional exercise. :D
It's fun to destroy a tire for no useful purpose? :dontknow: Imagine that... :banghead:

burn tire

I can light mine up from a stop and sometimes I can hit it just right at about 10 mph in 1st gear. Don't do it very often but just have to live sometimes.

Bob, you never fail to entertain me. Right now all I can see is the Tarkus album cover as your avatar.

I had a 2008 GS SE5, sometimes it was hard NOT to spin the rear tire. The F3 will turn one also. I got into some gravel with the F3 and had a bit of a wild ride there for a few seconds until she finally straightened out. It was unexpected but fun once I was into it. I am trying to ride like an adult but sometimes I just gotta cut loose.

:D I might have one or two more avatars laying around...
Thanks for knowing the Band: some pretty good music came from them!

Serious question...

Here's one for you...What do you ryde...Some spyders can some can't as well as some ryders will and some won't. check you tube out and you will see some hair raising wheel wasting...:roflblack:
