• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I went to install the front led light kit from slingmod for my 2021 spyder rt limited. Watched the video and did everything like the did. But found where you plug in to the bike for power it's just plastic no electrical inside!!! Is it supposed to be like that? Makes no sense.20210723_122511.jpg20210723_122511.jpg

You are right that is just a storage port/hole for the power cable that should have been plugged in to it. Should have a 2 wire harness that was plugged in with a label GPS on it. you will need to plug in to the harness not the port.

should have been plugged in to the port/plug hole. If not it should be right there some where, but have to ask do you have a GPS installed already? if so that harness will be connected the the GPS and you will need the splitter that should have came with the slingmod light. As said if you have a GPS dealer installed they used that harness and tucked it away some where.

I don't have GPS hooked up but I used a Y splitter with that wire that was in the port to hook up the led. But my switch and led will not light up like there is no power going to it. Any ideas? Appreciate your help

then the polarity is most likely reversed.

Boomer, I have the same model, and it certainly came with a cable plugged into that hole by default. I did not get a GPS as I already had one which I plugged into my Neutrino fuse block. I actually tapped into the wire as my trigger for my Neutrino. :dontknow:

Mine came plugged in to sorry for the confusion. I'll see if the polarity is backwards and I'll get back to you guys. Thanks
