There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. finally got the spyder out after a long hibernation, performed the mods/upgrades, however having problems with nmn triple play. hope someone can help or has run into this. fyi, nmn has already sent me a replacement logic box/wire harness for triple play. with the engine off the 4 way flashers are very fast, signal lights are normal, signal with brake light are normal, with the engine running, 4 way are intermittent, signal is normal and signal with brake on are high speed. any ideas/suggestions. Thanks. ( ps, also installed the fender tipz and centre mount brake lamp )

No one understands the No Magic products like the Magic Man. I suggest you continue the dialog with him.

I have the triple play. From the day I installed it my backup (hazard) lights have flashed alot faster than before the install. I thought this was normal. Maybe I should call MM and find out.

With the NMN Triple Play, my hazard lights flash faster w/ engine running and normal with engine off. All other light functions are normal. According to MM, this is how he planned the hazard flash rate.

I designed the 4 way flashers to have a faster flash rate when the bike is running (IE. you are on it in traffic and need people to wake up and see you) because I felt the stock rate was a bit slow in this situation.

I felt this faster flash rate in this situation adds extra safety and visibility to the Spyder.

I also designed the system to return to the slower "stock flash rate" 30 seconds after the key is off (this to alllow you time to get off and away from the Spyder so you don't get hit) this slower flash will help the battery last longer while you and the Spyder wait for help.

So, if this is what your Spyder is doing with the Triple Play installed than it is working just as I designed it to, and is 100% correct.

Okay, how about this scenario. On dltang's Spyder (with the TriplePlay, center stop light, Fendertipz and a Bushtec hitch / trailer wiring) with the engine off, her turn signal blink at the same rate, with or without the brakes applied. When she starts the Spyder, the right turn signal blinks at a steady rate with or without the brakes applied. However the left turn signal blinks at the normal rate without the brakes applied but with the brakes applied, blinks at about twice the normal rate. Any ideas? Mine, with only the Tripleplay, works fine (both turn signals blink at the same rate regardless of the situation). :dontknow:

Magic Man you continue to amaze me - a manufacturer that actually thinks ahead to how the product works for the user - :yikes:

Keep-up the good work!

Brian,

Yes I have some ideas.

I think you will find that there is an incorrect draw on that one side with the trailer lights hooked up.

I know you have had the Triple Play on Deb's bike for almost a year and just had this start since you added the trailer lights. As in her orginal video it was working normal. :dontknow:

The BRP system is very sensitive to load and is not only is looking for a minimum load, but also has a cap on how much load it will allow as well.

If the load is changed beyond the limits the bike wants to see as "normal" than you get a fast flash with ether too high or low of a draw.

Also, a backfeed from another circuit, say the brake light into that sides directional circuit can do this to.

The first thing is to unhook the trailer wiring and see what happens? If things go back to normal than look real hard at that trailer system back there for your answer.

If with EVERYTHING to do with the trailer wiring unhooked it still does it, then call me and I can help you futher.

Actually Evan, this happens without the trailer and started happening, at least I noticed it a couple of months ago. I never thought of it as a problems, so I never mentioned it. It only blinks faster when I am running and I put the brakes on. Doesn't matter if the trailer is there or not.

Triple play

Mine doesnt work like it says in the instructions . No flashing with the toggle switch in either position and no instructions on how to get the givi bag lights to work as running and brake lights. No instructions on what the three single wires are for nor what the other two three wire connectors are for. Having bought the givi bag lights and the tripleplay i find I'm out over $200.00 and it just doesnt work.:spyder2:
