ST= Sport Touring

Good Question. RS of course is roadster sport. The RSS is special paint and a few other performance enhancing doo dads. I would venture a guess that the extra S designates something like "super" or "special". Or--think of the model as a Super Sport.

On my 2011 RS-S this is the Spec
The Spyder RS-S package offers all the standard Spyder RS features, PLUS:
• Black 6 double-spoke front wheels
• Two-tone coloration
• Painted front spoiler and A-arm covers
• Carbon-black aluminum parts
• RS-S graphics
• Stitched seat
As you can see, it is cosmetic changes. I love it. Mine is Alloy Orange Metallic/ Matte Black

I would think that it is Roadster Sport - Special as in Special edition, a few extra farkles.
