• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

EB fuse panel

Anyone who is interested in adding a fuse panel to install extra power outlets, GPS or heated accessories such as heated grips this fuse panel looks like it will be a good choice. It has both switched and unswitched circuits. From the sound of the description, EB claims it will be a solid unit. I have added a Centech II fuse panel to my Spyder for mods that I plan to add in the future. In fact I have my Symtec heated grips already hooked up to this fuse panel. The Centech II also has both switched and unswitched circuits, but if this was available to me at the time that I puchased the Centech fuse panel I would probably have chosen Eastern Beavers fuse panel instead. It just sounds like it will be a good quallity unit.

Reading clear down to the bottom of that link, he plans on selling the board for about $60. He talks about selling a seperate relay kit for the switched circuit with no price given on the relay kit.

If you go to the top of the link and click on the fuse box section, it lists prices for the centech AP-1 and the AP-2 wiring kits. These run anywhere from $30.95 to $42.95 depending on the wire length you need. I'm not sure if the price will be about the same for the EB fuse box, but my guess it will be. I purchased my Centech AP-2 through a different company because at the time EB no longer was selling them, but they do offer the wiring kits.

The Blue Sea box is great... this was my second or third use of it.

But.... learn from my mistake. Don't mount it where I did... in the trunk. I originally did that to make the fuses accessible... however, if you have the need to remove the trunk, it makes that job way more time consuming.

In retrospect, mounting where it's accessible by removing the side cover that is removed for oil checking would be better.

.

They are selling the Blue Sea fuse block (USCG approved) that I seen ata Dude use on eBay for under $40. It looks like a very solid unit.
