• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Eating Crow

Went on a 975 mile round trip that took me through Bryce Canyon National Park, Capital Reef National Park, Canyonlands (Needles District) National Park, Arches National Park and then back home to St. George. While at Canyonlands I went for a hike with the Spyder RT Limited parked in the designated parking lot. Came back from the hike and found a crow sitting in a tree close to the Spyder and found a hole in my passenger backrest the size of a silver dollar. It was obviously the handy work of the crow pecking at something on the seat or just liking the taste of the material and foam inside. Looking for help on two things now. First I am looking for a new backrest for my wife. My Spyder is a 2014 RT Limited and it has limited embroidered on the backrest. Anyone have one that they have replaced with something else that will fit my Spyder. Second I am looking for a good recipe for crow. Crockpot or barbequed on the grill.

Worst part is that the Spyder only had about 800 miles on it at the time.

Sorry . . .

. . . I can't help with either the backrest or the recipe ( despite having had to eat crow many times )

But, I did want to say that the trip you took hit some of my most favorite spots in this country. Except for the crow experience, you are a lucky guy!

You might want to get a travel cover to put on the RT whenever left unattended. It will prevent crows and other strange "birds" from sitting on your Spyder. I probably wouldn't have put mine on in that parking lot - but I would now after reading your experience.

Unless you want to maintain the spyder in stock condition, an upholsterer may be an option; then, you can go as fancy as you want on the embroidery. Good luck with however you handle this, including crow soup or crow mignon.

chowder of crow makes a fine meal on these snowy spring days :thumbup::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:
