• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Easy pass

This is a VERY good question...

Last year; I had it stuck to the top of the dash with some really tough double-sided tape...

But it looked awful, and I was worried about theft...

This year; I've stuck it down in the frunk. It's at the very front of it, and tucked up underneath the frunk liner...

I hope that it gets read okay; I don't get to use if often, but I will report what happens.

As I sailed past the EZ Pass reader and the light did not go on I decided to head to the local office. I was told that as long as your motorcycle plate (and trailer plate) is registered to your account they don't care if you carry the device since everyone has problems reading it. I haven't carried it since except for out of state trips. They deduct the tolls automatically from my account.

On my ST I stick it to the inside of the frunk lid. I've also had it in a dash pack (between the dash and the windshield) and it reads it there fine.

Good info I put my on my windshield but I have to remove it so often now I'll put it in my frunk and register my plate

I stuck it inside the frunk. The adhesive fell off and it landed in the bottom. it stayed there.

On my F3, its in the frunk on the ledge next to my helmet storage.

Underside of the frunk lid on my ST. Been there over a year never fell off. I cleaned the area with alcohol before sticking the adhesive strips.

Underside of the frunk lid . . . it fell a couple times, and I noticed I could go online with EZ Pass and get another set of the Velcro they use, so I ordered it. With twice the Velcro, it holds quite well . . . and always reads.

I have it in my windshield leather bags. Reads hit and miss. Never had luck in the Frunk either. This past week on a ride to Americade it got read at the first Ma Plaza but not read leaving Ma. Then it got read first NY Plaza. Not read leaving i90. Coming back it didn't get read entering i90. So I took it out and held it in my hand leaving NY i90 and it was read. Also read at the two MA plazas coming back.

NJEZPASS billed me for 10 hours on i90 for entire route of $14.25 instead of the 1.80 it should have been charged. I am disputing it. (Which means they have to pull the camera footage in NY according to the Customer Service Rep.)

My point is.....if not on your helmet then put it in your hand. Sheesh ain't technology wonderful.

EZ Not Pass

I have tried mine in Frunk and Glove box, neither successful at certain readers. I have settled for lower windshield which ain't pretty but works. I dream of Can-Am designing a tag mount that eliminates theft but allows reading as part of the design of the RT, which was made for long distance touring.

On the windsheild

I have it on my windshield, stuck with that heavy duty hook and loop. Take it off at night or for longer stops. It didn't get read when I had it on the bottom of the windshield, I can't imagine that it can be read in the Frunk! I'm not too worried about theft; the pass itself is free and I don't have it connected to my bank account.
