• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Easy fix for messed up lug bolts

I bought a trailer and had to assemble it. Pretty easy except the lug bolts on the hubs were buggered up on a couple and all of them looked like they had gotten painted with the hub. I was able to get an inexpensive bolt re-threader from Amazon. Worked great to clean out the threads. I really liked this item as it was pretty small. I bought the size for 1/2x20 bolts and it fit a 3/4" wrench, instead of the huge size usual for thread dies. 3/4" is the same size as the lug nuts so it will be a great thing to throw in the take-along tool bag. Anyway, thought I'd post a link to this item in case anyone here has the same need to clean out lug bolt grooves.
