• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I left the house to take a trip to a neighbor town yesterday and about three blocks from house I stoped and made a left turn. My RT hesitated, screen went orange, the gear indicator showed an "E". I finished the turn and all cleared up and was fine. I returned home and checked the oil, it was at the full mark. Made the trip with no problems. Should I be concerned? This has happened only once in the 6000 miles.

Do you manually downshift? This happened to us when we first had our :ani29:. We were coming to a red light, and I was downshifting. I attribute the event to me hitting the down paddle at the same time as the SE5 was going to downshift to first anyhow.

Check the codes if it happens again. Once in awhile is a glitch but if it get worse or the codes indicate failure vice incompatibility, you probably need a new gear position sensor.

It does sound like a glitch. The computer does that sometimes to let us know who/what is really in charge. If it happens again, retrieve a code if possible and see the dealer.

Displaying "E" (Note without the R+N lights flashing) denotes gear position sensor fault.

I agree with everyone else drive on and see if it happens again.
