• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

E-ZPass: revisited

Mine has been up in the nose of the bike (taped un place underneath the front document pouch.) It has always been read by the tollbooths.
It was suggested that I try the left rear document pouch, and I'm going to do just that!
(I've never been able to get them to stick to the Frunklid... :banghead:)

The document pouch sounds good/
As to the frunk lid, you need to make sure you clean off any release compound.

nojoke I even wiped it with MEK! :yikes:

(That stuff will peel the lipstick off of a Kardashian! :roflblack:)

Ezpass won't read in Maine

2011 RT Limited: What I mean is I usually hold it in the compartment under the handlebars. Then as I go through the toll I hold it in my hand. (PITA) so I tried like others and put it in the Frunk in multiple places. The reader just won't pick it up unless it's somewhat exposed. I don't want to Velcro it on my dash cause I think it's an eye sore... Not sure what else to do. Wait spray paint it Black? Hmmmm

You can get extra Velcro and make it stay on the lid.

Just thinking it would be out of your way there.:dontknow:
That is what I did after it fell a couple times - the whole back of it is covered with the EZ-Pass version of Velcro. In WV, I can sign in to my EZ-Pass account, online, and order extra Velcro strips.

Wow, I thought they got rid of the boxes. In Colo we get a magnetic barcode that is glued to the windshield, lower left corner. No box no batteries. Worked fine on I 44 going to Spyderfest.

EZ pass on my windshield

That is the same place that I put mine from PA at...... Had it there on the 11 also, never had any issues with it being picked up at the booth.

Bob

I zip tied my ez pass to my windshield bracket and this weekend went through a toll booth and it wouldn't read it... we have always had issues with it, no matter where I put it..
the case on my EZ pass must be lead lined :banghead:

EZ pass location

I've had my motorcycle ezpass under the trunk lid on 3 RT models. Never an issue and even allows the drunk to be 'loaded'...

I took my Sunpass apart and put the board in the trunk, sandwiched in between the inner and outer panels. No chance of it falling out, it's up higher and never missed a beat. The only negative is you can't take it out if you ever don't want to use it.
