E-Bay manuals?

Any one buy on E-Bay a midwest manual? I got the down load part of it but never the cd and it has been over a month.Merchant was K & J no info any longer avaible on E-Bay. Looking for contact info on K & J, Google came up with 4000 hits no help.Me thinks I got took. J Miller

Lot of the manual sellers on eBay do this- advertise a cd but only provide a download. eBay no longer allows download sales so this is the sellers workaround. Probably why your seller disappeared too.

Is the downloaded file usable? If so can you just burn the file(s) to a CDROM or a USB flash drive? At least this way it will be portable and you will have a good backup.

I can find any number of download only items for sale on eBay.

Maybe if they say CD and then provide only a download without clearly stating that in the auction I could see that being frowned on by eBay. That's false advertising anyway.

Plenty of download links to FTP sites still available all over the place. :thumbup:

I got mine from Midwest on Ebay. They mailed me the CD and emailed a link (special gift) which was a pdf version of the manual. No complaints here.

Thank to all for your help. Made contact K & J seems I did not order this from an E-Bay site. I thought I did. Any ways if you sell a down load item on E-Bay you have to also include a disc/cd as a back up. K & J said all I have to due is copy it to a cd. So no big deal. J Miller
