• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Dynojet PowercommanderV and Autotune

Just wanted to add this thread because so many people like myself come to this site for info and tech tips.
I am runnimg a custom Muzzy exhaust, no catalytic converter, a less restricted air flow to the air box, and a green performance air filter. I have plenty of other mods but these are the only things that effect the air fuel ratio. I have also made and installed an internal exhaust reducer to help maintain some pack pressure so I do not loose all my low end performance while still allowing a free flowing system. Just for the record I removed the cat. for heat reasons only, not performance. Anyway I ordered the Twobrothers Juice Box Pro to help get a better fuel map to make up for the air and exhaust flow changes. I have ran with this set-up for a while now but could never get the power curve smooth all the way through. I could change it but was never completly satisfied. The closest map they offered was Twobrothers slip on with stock air filter. After reading the thread by WrapFactory http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/...ander-V-w-Autotune-insane!&highlight=autotune I thought this was the way to go for me. I now have the Dynojet PowercommanderV and Autotune on my Spyder and have removed the Twobrothers. All I can say is WOW. Better performance, liquid smooth trough any RPM and gear, and much better fuel milage. I had been getting around 25-26 MPG. My first tank after the change with in town, small highway, and rural roads and NO interstates was 31.63 MPG and that is with more power! I don`t drive the wheels off of it but I am pretty spirited, I drive the way I want and not what the fuel tank wants. Here is the single biggest diferance, before I would never use 5th gear under 70 MPH because of the lugging feeling that I hate. Now 55 MPH is no issue in 5th as long as the roads are not to hilly. The vibration is also reduced. My openion is that this has just jumped as the single best mod I have done.

Just to note the Juice box pro is a good product just not for my setup and yes you can go into the computer and change the map but without a wideband O2 sensor it is not the same.

My AFR settings are 13.6:1 in closed loop (first 40% of throttle and your crusing range) and 13.0:1 in open loop (last 60% of throttle)

This is the best part for those of use who can`t keep our hands off our Spyders. Any change you do from this point on will automatically be compensated for by the Autotune!!!!!!!! If you set 13.0:1 then that is what you will run, you have to love that.

For the people who are more concerned about fuel mileage. I am set up more on the performance side. you could tune the AFR`s to be more MPG friendly and I would think 35 MPG with no interstate could be done all day long. Just a guess, don`t quote me on that one.

Sorry to be so long winded but I know there are people out there who would like this info. Happy Spydering.

glad you got it sorted out... was wondering if you needed more fuel then the Spyder injectors could put out. turns out the 2bro juice box was not adding enough fuel. I kind of figured the top adjustment buttons did not allow enough fuel change plus its kind of a sledge hammer adjustment to adding fuel.

did you get the fuel air display as well ? so you can see your air fuel ratio on the fly?

OK I tried to copy and past the map but for some reason it would not let me. If you can tell me how I can do it I would be glad to post it.

I think you upload like you would like a photo, got to bottom of your "reply to thread" and click on manage attachments. then go to add files then to basic up loader, browse, my computer, my programs, power commander, maps, click on the map you want to attach. done. copy and paste wont work. and only if any one that has pcv program can open it after it is saved and then unzipped within maps. hope this helps.
