• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Dynoing SE-5 spyder possible??

Ive been told that with the se-5 spyders there are sensors on the front wheels that will not allow the transmission to shift unless a certain wheel speed is reached? Is this in fact that case? and if so is there a work around?

I'm looking at switching to the power commander 5, but the tuning is going to be a nightmare without some sort of data logging capability, or being able to get this thing on a dyno.

Thanks
James

It looks like everyone else has heard the same things regarding the dyno and the se-5.

I know from having my spyder apart there is still a gear lever but instead of going to a shifter to be foot operated it goes forward into the big mess of se-5 hydraulic shifter mechanism, so do you guys think its possible to unhook that shifter arm and manually shift the spyder on the dyno?

THEY WERE just talking about you aka today at dynojet i aske them why they didnt have sales for 08's and they said havent tested any just o9' se5 probably yours funny. they said bring yours in so we can test it and we'll sell them for 08's which is same anyways i said to bad im on other side of country or i would.
