• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Dyno tune Spyder that already has autotune?????

Generally, what's called 'Dyno tuning' is really just using a device called a dynamometer (or a rolling road) as a tool to measure & 'fine tune' any other method of getting the engine tuning & timing right, & maybe measuring the power change/results of or the calibration of whatever other tuning method you've already applied - effectively, the dyno is just one tool that can be used by the tuner... but it's not actually a 'tune' or tuning method per se or in itself..... so there's generally no really significant benefit from doing or getting a dyno done too if you've already done your tuning or got an 'on the go' tuner that's always updating/changing anyway :lecturef_smilie:

And to add to that, I don't know of too many dyno's that can even be set up to work readily with a 3 wheeled machine that needs the non-driven front wheels to turn at or near the same speed as the driven rear wheel or it'll throw codes & revert to 'Limp Home' mode... effectively defeating the purpose of the devise & negating any benefits you may get by using a 'rolling road' to aid in the tuning process.... Not saying it can't be done, just that it's not easy & since there's not much other benefit to be had anyway.... :dontknow:

Your choice tho - or maybe you could just send me the dollars you'd spend on getting the dyno done - that'd probably do your tune just as much good! Altho a run on a dyno might be able to tell you exactly what power outputs you are getting before & after any other tuning work or mods...... but it won't actually be up to changing much else in itself tho!
