• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Durango Fires

Durango fire made NBC news tonight, may have made evening news before, but may have missed it. I will watch news when i'm in Manitou Springs and the inciweb. then I will decide if I can go thru Durango on 6-27 on my way to Grand Junction. others have posted more northern route as well as I have looked at map.

Car museum is at Gateway, CO like you say

Yes we made a quick stop at the car museum in Gateway. Quite the collection of really slick classics with various theme periods.

This was from my friend's house a couple of days ago. They live south of the city of Durango.

The Gateway Car Museum is owned by the guy who also owns the Discovery Channel. It's a neat place but that road (141) is high speed sweeper fun all the way from Grand Junction to Naturia. Sparsely patrolled, few traffic, just watch out for free ranging cattle.

From Naturia south to Dove Creek is pretty boring. Wife and I rode that last year and in 80 miles we saw maybe 5 cars. Some areas had pretty good chuck holes. But our less than great experience was probably caused by the thunder storm we were trying to out run.....

Thanks for the info. I see you are from Pueblo. I grew up in Wiggins and graduated from Greeley High School in 1958. Colorado has

changed a lot since then.

AaaYeppp - some places more than others

"Colorado has changed a lot since then."

From Wiggins and the Plains east its still pretty much the same- just drying up as the water flows towards the money along the Front Range;)
