• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Dumb seat question

I am looking to upgrade my 2014 RTL seat to an Ultimate...and was wondering what my stock seat with the original Can Am driver backrest and passenger backrest would be worth in the classified section. Please feel free to give me your thoughts.

Thanks!

Original seats are usually going for $75 plus shipping. If you are talking about the $1000 backrest--its worth about half in the used market.

I was offered $75 for a Corbin seat with backrest--if I would ship it for free. That was a little bit low and I passed on that exceptional offer. :roflblack::roflblack:

You have to look at these items as a "sunk" cost. It is what it is and if you think of how much money you are losing--it can be painful. If you get a reasonable offer--take the money and run.

Very sage advice, Spyderman  ....and I think it's a bloody SMART question, Gparr;)

Not a dumb question

Consider saving the Limited seat to make your Limited easier to sell. It is an integral part of the "Limited" and as such might make it worthwhile to keep it.

Don't know. ..!!

But check oem seat new from cheapcycleparts.com and they are $519.00 free shipping but don't know how much the backrest is. What you can get for it is a whole other story...:dontknow:
