• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Dual Exhaust

I have a local fabrication company that is building a gate for my yard and I showed him the Spyder. I told him I wanted to put dual exhaust's on and make then horizontal instead of the up sweep. He told me that he has never worked with a Spyder, but has done a lot of custom street car exhausts and was sure he could do something that would look professional with the Spyder. He is supposed to be back with the gate in approx a week and will look at the Spyder at that time. I have looked at many exhaust mufflers and decided on the Bruce Fabrication product. My question now is how will the performance be effected by the duals. Should I upgrade or change anything?

I haven't posted yet on the performance of mine but...

I have seen no increase or decrease in performance based on running against a DL1000 (last weekend) that is my benchmark with the pipes plus the Suzuki GSX-R1000 mufflers.

What you do gain is a different look, flexibility and a unique sound... you can hear the two cylinders working individually.

You are talking a true dual, right? Not just an off-shoot from the 2-to-1 junction?

Yes, I cannot see the expense just for "appearance" sake. I also just installed the Industrial Speciality brake extension. Looks terrific and I don't even have to look down anymore to apply same. I also had Tony's (tjfisher) passenger extensions installed and it does not interfere at all with their use.
