• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

drum roll please......... how????

It depends on the reason that the question is being asked...
Shoot! I'm even curious about it's capabilities...
But there's other more important factors that were more important.
That's all! :D

The right vehicle... is the one that puts the biggest smile on your face, for the greatest amount of time! :2thumbs:

When I bought my Grand Cherokee I knew it wasn't a fast vehicle...but performance was still a consideration when comparing. Every time someone asks a similar question people on here jump all over them about it being the wrong vehicle. It's annoying.

So what would you suggest comparing the Spyder to?

If you want to compare it to a Ski-Doo Mach Z you could. But then again, that was a great "smooth trail" sled that had a habit of stretching arms and shortening lakes. My only hope is that the 2015 RS-S comes with a hotter motor.

Just sayin'...........

I too am curious and will find out for myself as soon as I get some more miles on it. I doubt the rev limiter would limit the top end as there is way too much wind resistance to get any where near red line in top gear. Since 6th is actually an overdrive gear, it may be more possible to red line in 5th but I will need make the speed run to find out. I really don't care how fast it is other than just the once so I can quote fact by GPS. My Guess is it will be more like 110 by GPS with a tail wind, lol but I hope I am wrong.

My tops speed on the 2011 was about 98mp by GPS and the last 8 mph takes a while. At that speed the 990 just cannot overcome the wind resistance from the frontal area even with the windscreen down. I was bummed, lol.

Had my 14RT to 100 mph. and it still had lots left. Slowed down and was satisfied that it was fast enough to go to jail.
