There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

First off :congrats: & :welcome: :clap:.....The BRP backrest that was designed for the 2014 RT won't fit because the 2011 seat PAN is different. So the bracket of the Backrest can't be attached to the Pan .... .... PM me and I can assist you in what will work for you ..... Mike :thumbup:

Looks like the seller probably knew it would not fit your 2011 since it didn't work for him on his 2012. If you got the mounting bracket and the backrest, you should have no trouble getting your money back. Just advertise it on this forum in the "For Sale" section. Dear Debby, the answers you receive here will be based on the info you provide !!!! ......... To the best of my knowledge , BRP only started making DRIVER BACKRESTS FOR THE 2014 & up RT's, so I thought you had a BRP backrest ..... from your post #5 .... I NOW think you have a Utopia..... and if that came off a 2012 RT .... it and the mounting Bracket will fit your seat ...... All my above info was based on what you have told us so far ...... Go to utpr.com ,Utopia's website and you will find an installation video there. They are very easy to install and worth it. I have had their backrest on two motorcycles so far and loved them.

Debby thank you for getting back to us on this ….and " Pegasus1300 " is correct, … they can help you, if you didn't get a POUCH with yours they can sell you one for yours ….. check under the back flap for Velcro , that's how the pouch is attached ……. Mike :thumbup:
