I've purchased a lot of Drill bits in my day and $ 6.00 for a 1 ft. long x 1 inch Dia. bit sounds a tad un-believable......Is this a " SPADE BIT " for Wood ???????.......................Mike :lecturef_smilie:
Sorry you're having a bad day, 4 Marie.
:agree: &That bit would be " UBER " expensive ......If you have one...... IMHO .....BAD THINGS are going to occur the instant that bit grabs any metal :yikes: :yikes: :yikes: ........REALLY - BAD - THINGS .........Please don't try this :lecturef_smilie:............ But if you are determined to do it, have someone get a Video so people can see what not to do .......Mike
You may buy Lennox Bi-metal hole saws at Airgas, welding and industrial gases......OK , this I can believe wever I would not want to be the person holding the drill when that bit grabs .......see description from Lennox tool #1. - WOOD CUTTING .....THAT should give you a hint.............Good luck, .....Mike
I like your mod. Did you fab the tip or is it off the shelf. Fabricator = one who makes stuff you do not have.:roflblack: My dealer gave me a muffler and told me to see what I could do with it. I still have the prototype. The one in mt pix is the final product I run now. Did you open the bottom and free flow yours? I love keeping the naysayers in a tiff. Ride on!:riding:Or you could do what I did and chop the end remove what ever you want to fab up a new tail pipe and tig weld it all back up this one and others I have done now sound just like a $1400 muffler offered by BRP.
