• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Drain Plug

There is a small drain plug in the bottom of the trunk but it's real small. I have to use it each time I wash the Spyder because the trunk leaks so bad. :(

Water in the trunk is usually one of two things. Either you need to adjust the post that locks into the latch for a tighter seal, or you need to reposition the seals themselves. Hope this helps.

....or find another place to hold your cold beverages...LOL ;D

When I had my first service done, the dealer washed the bike before returning it to me. Nice thought, but the kid that washed it used a high power spray gun that did everything but peel the paint off the machine. Apparently no great harm done - just some water in the luggage area. They now have a note in the computer not to wash my machine any more.

>:( you would think the dealer would know not to use high pressure on a Spyder :edit:, these are not off road bikes with caked on mud!! . Smart to have them make a note in your file on the computer, better to wash it yourself. I do the same with my HD i tell the dealer i will wash it myself, think i will do the same with the Spyder dealer.
