• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Dragon Riding

So my wife was asking me if anyone with an RT has ridden the Tail of the Dragon and how does the RT handle the curves.
I did a search, but couldn't find an answer.
We have ridden The Dragon several times on our Honda 1100 ACE Tourer fully loaded with us and the gear, and the last time she fell asleep. I assure you I was having the time of my life and I was not taking it easy. I was unaware that she was dozing.
I am looking forward to riding the Dragon with our new RT, and hope we can navigate the curves with as much agility as with the Honda.
So the question remains.

Tell wife she best not fall asleep. (unless you're trying to get rid of her) :yikes: Two up on an RT-S requires BOTH ryders to be aware of what's going on.

Make sure you plan your trip carefully. They had a rock slide on it which closed a portion of it. Last I heard, it's due to be opened sometime in July.

I did it on my GS, but as someone else said, I am sure Lamont has done it on the RT, maybe more than once. It's a nice ride, but what a work out!! nojoke

Assuming the Dragon will be open in the middle of June, I plan on doing it on my RT-S, so It'll be interesting to hear what kind of response you get back from RT owners that have done it.
