DPS WARNING

While test driving a used 08 M5 in Redding Ca. a CHECK DPS warning message showed up on the multifunction gauge. I called the local dealer who told me that there has been a recall of a sensor in the dynamic power steering system. Has anyone heard of this recall from other dealers? The steering felt OK to me but I am new to the Spyder world and not a good judge as to what normal steering feedback fells like. Passed on the used one - bought a new red M5. :thumbup:

Thats the issue i had with mine. There was no recall/service bulletin at the time. A month and a half, 2 DPS units, a new wiring harness, and over 150 miles later, I got her back working good as new. Not extremely happy about the miles. I at least got to drive the first 100.
