DPS Replacement Question

I have been reading a lot of post about DPS replacements so I called my Dealer and he told me to wait until I receive a letter from Can-Am because the recall is not for all Spyders. Is this true? I have not gotten a letter yet but I have also moved to another state since I purchased my Spyder so the letter maybe lost in the mail system. I have a 2008 SE. Is there anywhere I can go online to see if my VIN # or Model # falls under the DPS Replacement program.

I'm pretty sure that any Spyder built before the middle of this past August is going to be included in the DPS recall. Get in touch with a local Can Am dealer and have him run your V.I.N. to confirm this. Any dealer can get the parts and do the swap, so let them know that you want to get things patched up quickly!
