DPS replacement question

How much of a teardown is required for the dealer to do a DPS swap?

2-3 hours (remove the trunk, etc.) and apply at the end the B.U.D.S. :thumbup:

Do you know the source of the coolant - ie: crack in the coolant tank, or perhaps a hole in a line???

I had a antifreeze leak at the radiator hose clamp right side, if that's where your leak is coming from,ray: it's a simple fix with a screwdriver. Two minute job, No panel removal. A few Spyders had that same leak.

It's probably one of the factory oetiker clamps that aren't as tight as they should be. Many have had leaks when it got cold out. The consensus for a fix seems to be replace them with standard worm gear hose clamps.........

:agree:Had several of these leaks first year when it cooled down but I'm also on my 3rd coolant bottle:ani29:

The DPS is extracted between the upper and lower part of the right A arm. Can’t touch any of the antifreeze lines or coolant bottle. :thumbup:
