DPS problem

DPS problem $1800.00 repair cost.

Any suggestions regarding this problem. $!800.00 dollars seems way out of the question for rhe dealer repair.
This is the second fault. The original was two days after I bought the trike new(covered by recall).
it is obivious the company recognizes that this is a problem area for these vehicles.
It certainlly leaves a bad taste after owning two Hondas(trouble free).

Suggestions please.

Recall?

Hold it. If his is a true recall, and I don't remember if the DPS failures were, then it should not matter the age of the machine (IMHO). As it is a known problem, see if the dealer will push to have BRP cover the fix. I am thinking it was a true recall, for safety reasons .... those with longer experience on this sight might remember.

Hi Ben. Well, I suppose it depends on what you are looking for in the way of "suggestions". If you want a second opinion about the accuracy of the diagnosis, then you'll need to give us the complete story from the beginning, codes, symptoms, etc. Or are you looking for feedback about whether the cost you've been quoted is in the ballpark, or if BRP should fix it at no charge? I know it's frustrating to be looking at that kind of expense, and we all know that, sometimes, dealers don't always get it right. So, what would you like to know?
