• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

i been getting this clicking when i turn and locking up but only in slow speed but now it's sounds like something is about snap down there. dealer placed an order back it's on back order.
was this one of the symptoms for those who already had problems with dps?

sounds different

No, the DPS issue I had was at expressway speeds - never heard any clicking.
Never had a problem under 50mph.

With my new DPS, I do notice that the steering ( while at a stop ) does sometimes feel like there are little locks ( like there are detents ) when I turn the bar back and forth - nothing that locks or seizes up - but there are no clicks.

It definitely sounds different than what most people have reported. Let us know what they figure out on yours. Are they 100% sure it is the DPS causing the issue?

Had that going on but that was fixed way back when, With the recall.
Only took 15/20 minutes to take care of.

my dealer does think it's the dps and they do not even wanna try to fix it.
they wanna get the 2nd generation or updated dps.

i have had numerous DPS problems and DPS change outs. I have the clicking in my steering also and it is more of a symptom then the actual problem. When you have the dreaded DPS lock up you will know it and it will feel just like that clicking thing except this time it will be stuck and will not click. I go about 10,000 miles between these occurances so who knows when it is going to happen again. That is part of the fun of it.
