• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

DPS finally Died - maybe I'll get a new Spyder!

On my 2011 Spyder with 96,000 miles the DPS finally died today. It still drove ok, but cornering at slow speeds it was a lot harder. Codes are P0551 and P0552. The codes state I have a shorted circuit and an open circuit. Possible fixes, replace DPS. It looks like the part has been updated/changed 2 times since the OEM one in my Spyder was fitted. Retail is $1489.99, plus it looks like it'll need a hardware kit also. I plan on getting a new Spyder next year. Maybe I will rethink this. Bruce
