• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

DPS CODE

Went for a ride today with friends they have 2012 RT Limited. When my friend went to pass a vehicle the screen went orange displayed the DPS Code. He pulled over and shut down for a few when he started it back up every thing was good. We checked the code and found that it was for the Power steering. Any ideals what could cause this.

Yes make sure that you push all the relays in that are in the fuse box. Sometimes they will be just a little loss and a sudden move will cause it do that if it is not in tight.

Let's see..!!

I call them glitches that need to be confirmed. If you do the key walk (pull the key walk away for a while then restart) and the fault returns start checking. As mentioned check fuses and relays as well as battery connections. Check that the DPS is working and go from there...

Yeah, most likely a gremlin. My wife's 2010 DPS went out. Bike sat for a few hours while we were at a BBQ. I drove it home and it was fine. Hasn't happened since. That was back in March.

Sorry for the late response, but my 2012 did this to me a couple weeks back, following a fairly sharp turn. Did it twice and was concerned so took to dealer. he checked the code and found that the "pressure" setting on the power steering was slightly out of normal tolerances. Dealer adjusted and all good. No charge either.

Question(s): Didn't BRP start putting a piece of foam in the fusebox in an attempt to stabilize all of the occupants?
Do you have that foam inside your fusebox?
