• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Double Vision on the Dash! - Am I crazy, or new glasses wonky?? Anyone else?

Jumped on the 2021 F3s this morning to run to the store. Looked down at the gauges and saw double vision. They looked like a double exposure of a photo. When I came out of the store and restarted the Spyder everything was good. Either I am crazy, or my new glasses are acting up. Just wondering if anyone else has ever had that problem.
No, I was not drinking yet! LOL
Thanks

I am not thinking "sun baked control panels" is the problem. The Spyder only has 7000 miles on it and is garage kept. However, anything is possible. I appreciate your opinion.

I remember reading about it happening. Seems to be extremely sporadic without a cause being found. You may never see it again.

By "sunbaked" I am referring to the dash controls getting overheated on a hot sunny day--like they have sometimes in Florida.

It did it to my 2021RTL. Cycled key and all was well. Hasn't reoccurred in two years. I did take pictures in case it happened again.

HI, 66 Roseracing66,

I had it happen on my 2023 F3 LTD Special Series last year, I had the double vision on all of the gauges, I was shifting gears and using the controls too fast. It did't last too long. At the time I was going up a hill. After I shifted more slower, the display was normal again. Since then I have had it happen.

Sorry no pictures.

Deanna

Thanks for everyone's input. Guess I won't worry about it until the next time. Never a bad answer with this electronics stuff. Cheers

Happened to me once on my 2021 RTL. I turned it off, took out the key, and restarted and it was normal again. Sounds like a software glitch that just needed rebooting.
