Nice little generator you got there.
After I finally broke down and bought one, didn't lose power for two years. But I have now used it a total of 4 times. This is one of those items you don't use much, but when you need it, you need it.
I looked into the whole house type, definitely the best way to go. But between 3 and 5 grand, way to much cheese. Below is the one I bought, 9500 watts, does the whole house except central air. Cost less than a grand, not an inverter but does have clean power for home electronics.
I back feed it to my house through a range outlet in my garage.
