We were stationed in England 1980-83. This was during her term and during the Falklands War. She was quite a lady. She didn't back down from the IRA or the Argintine government. Matter of fact, she didn't back down from much at all.

She's the person parents should hold up as an example to their daughters. What a dame!

John Paul II, Ronald Reagan, and now Mrs. Thatcher. How different the world would be without them. Truly the end of an era.
