• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Don't give your loved one a bad gift

:roflblack: I actually bought my wife a new vacuum cleaner for her birthday once. 1st year we were married and settling into our new home (she got me a drill and circular saw). We're both pretty practical though and aren't much into flashy gifts. Heck, she was tickled to death a couple of years ago when I got her a new cookware set for Christmas! I've put on several pounds since then.
(but I still give her the occasional ring or necklace!)

15 years and counting!

Well, there have been many times in the last 42 years I thought I was in so deep that that i would never see daylight. :opps: However that wife of mine would always reach out and pull me back in. :shocked: Some one once told me that one should never get your better half a gift with a cord attached to it. Good Advice! However they developed all the battery operated tools and once again I was headed to the Dog House. This year the box under the tree has a cord attached to it, (no it is not a battery tender) it is something that she has been hinting at for some time. It is actually a replacement for a 40 year old device she uses often. I've lost a little sleep last night after reading this post, :gaah: thinking maybe I need to add something to the underling area of the tree. Thanks for the link to Zales Bob.:banghead:

first Christmas gift I ever bought the wife was a fishing rod and reel. they say you can give a man a fish and he'll have a meal, or you can teach a man to fish and he'll have food forever. now I figured that would hold true for a woman too. it doesn't!!!:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack: but we still laugh about it 32 years later. and of course I still visit the jewelry store at least once or twice a year!

Just to let you guys know....I would be happy to have a Baja Ron sway bar....I don't have that gene that most women have....after about 2 years of being married I suggested to Mark that we quit buying presents for each other....he jumped on it.....now we just buy what we want for our selves when we want it...does not have to be Christmas or birthday etc,,,,,,,we do surprise each other now and then with something we have wanted....but just when ever...not on traditional holidays

Pretty much the same here FB after the kids grew up. Only problem is I am greedy but I did get her a First Gear mesh jacket (like the one I bought we like to match) and am putting both under the tree along with her 72ct box of Dark Chocolate cherries with the LIQUID center not the crème. I made that mistake once and I had to buy some jewelry...:roflblack:

A few years ago I gave my wife a Cuisinart Food Processor/blender... Top of the line!
I still am alive to tell the story since she hasn't added poison into it (yet)... But I do have a couple of pieces of jewlery in my pockets in case any present backfires!:banghead:
"I want a firearm.... but not for Christmas or Valentines!" Now THAT is a double edge sword...:cus:
:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

:lecturef_smilie: IMPORTANT LIFESAVING TIP! :lecturef_smilie:
Make sure that she is given the gifts BEFORE she finds the sales receipts... and wonders who you bought them for! :yikes: nojoke
